Port Ludlow, WA, July 30, 2015 – Shine Micro, Inc. has been awarded a contract for 53 SA161-MH high sensitivity AIS receivers, to be installed in Boeing P8A Poseidon long range surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft through 2016.
The SA161-MH is a globally deployed, industry-proven, MIL-spec AIS tracking and surveillance solution featuring NVIS compatibility, industry-leading sensitivity, and Shine Micro exclusive I/Q Synchronous demodulator technology for reception of noisy, weak signals. The SA161-MH has been deployed on a wide variety of manned and unmanned aircraft since 2008. Additional SA161-MH options include high altitude and extended temperature operation range, Ethernet connectivity, custom serial data configuration, and flange or DZUS-rail mounting options.
